2024 KTM RC 125 is ready to race, standing out with styling inspired by MotoGP races. This SuperSport motorcycle offers improved maneuverability and ergonomics, allowing for both street and track riding. Its authentic racer spirit is highlighted by design reminiscent of the KTM RC16, both in style and ergonomics. The KTM RC 125 model is available in two color options.
The KTM RC 125 relies on a 15 HP, 125cc liquid-cooled, 1-cylinder, 4-stroke engine. Improved torque and smooth power delivery contribute to unmatched performance in its class.
The bodywork provides top wind protection in its class and facilitates higher speeds thanks to optimized aerodynamics created through CFD simulations (Computational Fluid Dynamics). The aerodynamic windscreen for ultimate wind protection ingeniously incorporates new LED headlights with LED daytime running lights (DRL) and integrated turn signals, providing optimal visibility.
The 13.7-liter fuel tank is inspired by the KTM RC4 model and offers the top fuel capacity in its class. Combined with low fuel consumption, it allows for faster riding with fewer fuel stops.
The KTM RC 125 features wider folding mirrors that improve rear visibility, but also, being sharper, provide increased aerodynamics. They are more practical, folding into a narrower profile when maneuvering the vehicle through tight spaces or for parking.
The ultra-light frame saves 1.5 kg compared to the previous generation, using a trellis frame and subframe bolted together to ensure improved stability at high speeds. The result? Faster lap times.
The KTM RC 125 is equipped with WP APEX 43mm inverted forks on the front and a new WP APEX rear shock, plus factory settings have been revised for a more sporty ride.
Up front, a 320mm disc combines with the four-piston fixed radial caliper BYBRE to provide controlled braking. At the rear, stopping power is provided by a 230mm disc setup and a single-piston floating caliper. Besides providing the best possible deceleration, the built-in strong brakes can be fully exploited thanks to ABS technology.
The 5-spoke wheel design improves handling characteristics and helps massively reduce rotational mass by 3.4 kg. The results are reflected in improved durability on the road and faster turns on the track.
The TFT display provides all the necessary data for the riding/racing experience as desired. It can be customized according to preferences. The screen automatically adjusts to lighting conditions thanks to the adaptive ambient light sensor, ensuring optimal visibility day and night.
The SUPERMOTO ABS mode provides additional freedom when it comes to hard braking without compromising safety by deactivating ABS on the rear wheel.
The LED front headlight is complemented by daytime running lights and guarantees optimal visibility while also providing the distinctive look of a KTM RC motorcycle. The sharp LED tail light completes the look.
The clip-on handlebar allows for height adjustment by 10mm, so at the end of the race, it can be raised for more relaxed daily applications.
The seat has an improved profile to contribute to unrestricted movement and features ergonomically shaped foam to ensure increased comfort. The outer material enhances grip in all weather conditions. The lightweight footpegs keep you firmly planted in turns while providing optimized geometry for sporty riding. For the passenger, splash protection prevents unwanted splashing. The ergonomic aluminum pillion handle completes the package.
