40 competitors from various corners of the world hunted the wolf on the longest competition dedicated to professional ATV riders, but few managed to finish the 6 days! Cause? Abandonment, various injuries, the state of the ATV or even the physical and mental state of the athletes. It was a tough race that left few athletes in the game. |

CFMOTO overcomes all the obstacles of the hunting daysKENDA was at the height in all 6 days, the pilots Radu Lungu (CFORCE 1000) and Levente Horvath (CFORCE Overland 1000) having a not inconsiderable course in front of other ATVs with old states in the races. They were, throughout the days of the race, among the first athletes to reach the finish line, on some days even finishing in 2nd and 3rd places. Out of 43 pilots only 6 made it to the very finish, and they all competed with KENDA tyres, two of them were CFMOTO. The tyre proved again, as they did in the previous editions, that are the most dependable choise to make. This is awesome news and a clear challenge to all other brands in ATV-racing events. |

I am not very happy with the result, it could be even more, the ATV behaved well, sometimes it even surprised me." |

Levente Horvath: "I finished the race on the 5th place, with an ATV that I went out with 2 hours before the competition ... I wanted to get a higher place, I had the chance to climb 3rd, but that's it. All in all, CFMOTO 1000 OVERLAND is an ATV that lasted on a hellish route for 6 days, small problems that are normal in such a competition, I went very well, in many places I passed without problems where other brands had." |

HOW WAS THE CFMOTO HTW 2022 EXPERIENCE?
- Having previously won HTW 3 times, having won many races, being also 3 times national Endurocross champion with BRB Renegade, this year I accepted the challenge to compete with CFMOTO in the most difficult, complex and extreme race of ATVs. It was an interesting, constructive experience, with the ATV going beyond my expectations at times.
EACH DAY, FEWER RIDERS TOOK THE START!
- 6 hard days where all the riders tried to get the best time possible, and the steep climbs, hard descents, off-camber inclines, going at high speeds, focusing on the maximum made them give up one by one in each passing day. There was a day where only 6 riders managed to finish the race in time.
WHAT WAS THE HARDEST DAY?
- For me, one of the hardest days was the very first one, because in the first half hour I cut the front tire, and because of this I also lost the power steering of the ATV, ending the day at the limit. However, the hardest day of the contest was day 5, when the winch was used too much. I winched for 2 hours and broke the front winch, then continued climbing using the rear winch. But the allotted time for the day was drawing to a close and I was forced to abandon it. THE BEST DAY?
- The best day for me was the last one, where everything worked very well and I managed to rank among the first riders, even in 2nd place.
THE NEXT CHALLENGE?
- Next year, CFMOTO will return with even more improvements, thus becoming more competitive even at this extreme level. |
