The pioneering Husqvarna EE 5 is the result of the Swedish brand’s rich motocross history and uses advanced technology. This mini motocross is powered by an electric motor that can rival any 50cc petrol model.
Designed for juniors who aspire to become racers, the EE 5 mini cross is assembled by Husqvarna Motorcycles experts with premium components and can be customized according to the riders’ height and riding skills, allowing for development in the safest possible way. With low noise and zero carbon emissions, the EE 5 is an inspired option for young riders and an electric dirt bike with proven track performance.
The electric motor delivers a maximum of 5 kW, rising to the level of classic combustion models. Extremely compact and slim, the air-cooled engine is specially developed for the EE 5’s chassis. The engine is also water and dust resistant, requiring minimal maintenance. Thanks to the electronic control unit (ECU), power is delivered directly to the rear wheel and can be customized by selecting one of six different riding modes.
The battery contains 84 modern lithium-ion cells and is protected by a robust die-cast aluminum housing. It stores 907 Wh of energy to provide up to two hours of riding in normal conditions or 25 minutes for fast-paced riding. The integrated battery management system (BMS) ensures the safety and longevity of the battery.
For quick and easy charging, the universal external charger providing up to 900 W can be plugged into any 110 or 230 volt outlet. An 80% charge can be achieved in just 45 minutes, while a full charge takes 70 minutes.
The EE 5 is equipped with a roll-over sensor, which cuts off power in the event of a crash or overturn.
The Husqvarna EE 5 features an adjustable seat height. The standard 665 mm seat can be lowered to 615 mm with two easy adjustments or using the suspension lowering kit available as a technical accessory, the latter lowering the seat to 550 mm.
The strong chrome-molybdenum steel chassis is developed with carefully calculated longitudinal flex and torsional stiffness parameters, contributing to the overall handling and suspension action, which ensures precise cornering and incredible stability.
The EE 5 is a high-performance mini racer and, like all Husqvarna Motorcycles models, comes equipped with premium WP suspension. The lightweight WP XACT 35 mm front forks offer a travel length of 205 mm, while the WP monoshock at the rear offers 193 mm of travel. Both components are easily adjusted to achieve a personalized set-up and deliver exceptional damping and rider comfort.
12-inch and 10-inch black anodized aluminum rims are wrapped in MAXXIS MX-ST tires. Hydraulic brakes on the front and rear, along with corrugated discs, deliver serious, controllable stopping power.
The NEKEN handlebars made of high-quality aluminum, along with ODI lock-on grips, contribute to stability, control and comfort.
The bodywork is slim and designed for freedom of movement.
The EE 5's blue and white graphics emphasize the electric drivetrain.
