GASGAS emerged in the mid-1980s, following in the footsteps of well-known brands like Bultaco and SWM. Their initial offerings primarily consisted of trial models, with a few trail, enduro, and entry-level street bikes introduced over time. By the late 1980s, GASGAS had established itself as a significant player in the trial segment. This focus on trials enhanced their products with high technical proficiency, particularly in the realm of 2-stroke engines, leading to the development of advanced enduro models in subsequent years. With 16 FIM trial world titles since 1993 and four consecutive FIM Trial-E titles, the brand's legacy and expertise in trials are indisputable.
In 2019, GASGAS became part of the Pierer Mobility Group, staying true to its Spanish heritage while leveraging the group's extensive experience, achievements, and ambitious future plans.
