KTM 890 Adventure 2024 is an adventure motorcycle from the Austrian manufacturer's Travel range, equipped with an 889 cc LC8c parallel-twin engine, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled. The engine produces 105 HP and offers linear and predictable power. Weight is 200 kg, and the fuel tank has a capacity of 20 liters, with an average consumption of 4.4 l/100 km.
The transmission includes 6-speed gearbox, wet multi-disc clutch with slip control and mechanical actuation, electric start and chain final drive.
Suspension consists of 43 mm WP Apex inverted telescopic fork at front with 200 mm travel, adjustable in rebound and compression on the top cap of each fork leg, and WP Apex mono-shock at rear with 200 mm travel, with rebound adjustment and manual spring preload. Suspension allows quick and easy adjustments for different terrain types.
The braking system includes 320 mm disc at front with J.Juan calipers and 260 mm disc at rear, equipped with Bosch 9.1 MP ABS with Cornering ABS function active in corners and offroad mode. In Offroad or Rally mode, ABS functionality is reduced on the front wheel and completely deactivated on the rear.
Wheels are aluminum spoked, 21 inch at front and 18 inch at rear. Tires are Pirelli Scorpion STR, offroad-oriented, ideal for durability and handling on road, but also for tackling difficult offroad trails.
Seat height is 860/840 mm (adjustable in two parts for superior comfort on long-distance riding), and ground clearance is 233 mm. Frame is tubular chromoly steel.
Electronic equipment includes 5-inch color TFT display, MTC traction control with 6D inertial unit that regulates rear wheel slip and prevents uncontrolled front wheel lift, anti-wheelie control and 3 standard riding modes (Street, Rain, Offroad). Demo Mode system allows testing all optional functions for the first 1,500 km, including Quickshifter+, Cruise Control, MSR (engine braking control) and Rally mode.
Connectivity is optionally provided through the KTM Connect app, which allows display of Turn-by-Turn+ navigation instructions, music listening and receiving calls. The motorcycle has USB and 12V sockets for mobile devices.
The design features a completely redesigned front end, inspired by the Dakar-winning KTM 450 Rally, offering a Ready to Race look. The tall windshield provides aerodynamically optimized protection at high speeds on the road. Footpegs are detachable and offer superior ergonomics when wearing street or offroad boots.
