The Fantic Caballero SCRAMBLER 700 boasts an advanced electronic package and fabulous performance, thanks to the engine (CP2 from Yamaha) with 2 cylinders in parallel 689 cc capable of developing a maximum of 74 HP at 9000rpm. The engine equipped with this scrambler motorcycle represents the top of the range, being the first time that a Japanese engine model embraces an Italian chassis.
In addition to the perfect power for on- and off-road fun, the Caballero Scrambler 700 rider benefits from a robust torque curve for the entire rev range: 60Nm constant up to 8000rpm, with a peak of 70Nm at 6500rpm. These values are the result of a carefully thought-out design and a development of calibration at the level of all intake and exhaust systems.
The Caballero 700 delivers exceptional performance and can be the best choice for longer distance rides. The comfortable saddle offers ample space for a passenger.
The excellent balance of the chassis is due to the new high-strength steel frame and the swingarm made of a high-quality aluminum alloy. The Marzocchi suspension consists of a robust 45mm inverted fork and a shock absorber with adjustable preload. The suspension settings and the 150mm travel are the result of optimizations made after countless hours of riding in all conditions: on fast circuits, on highways, winding roads, dirt trails and off-road.
The Caballero 700 also offers superb braking performance. This Fantic motorcycle can successfully cope with any road thanks to the combination of a 330mm disc and 4-piston Brembo calipers at the front with a 240mm disc and Brembo caliper at the rear.
The distinctive styling of the Scrambler 700 is inspired by one of the most famous versions in Caballero history, the 125 RC model from 1974-1976.
At first glance, the Caballero 700 is easily recognizable thanks to its pure and simple lines, carefully sculpted by the Fantic Style Centre. Symbolic elements such as the red tank, the round headlights and the yellow competition plates on the side panels are intertwined with modern accents such as the CNC-machined engine plates and the triple clamps, to which is added the carbon protection of the exhaust system. In addition to the classic red color, a metallic blue matte version is also available, again associated with the Caballero history.
From a technological point of view, the Caballero 700 is equipped with an advanced electronic package. This model is the first scrambler in the world equipped with an iconic round 3.5" TFT screen with integrated Bluetooth to control calls and media.
The rider can choose between three riding modes: STREET, OFFROAD (specially created for leaving regular roads) and CUSTOM, the latter allowing to configure all settings from ABS in corners and Traction Control according to needs to complete deactivation. The package is completed by full LED lights.
The Caballero 700 is the first Fantic motorcycle to offer ABS in corners and traction control as standard. The refined IMU unit allows the vehicle to be controlled even when it leans heavily to one side, ensuring precise and reliable electronic intervention. Both controls can be deactivated if necessary, such as in demanding off-road conditions.
