KTM 390 SMC R 2026 – Pure Supermoto, Unlimited Fun

The KTM 390 SMC R 2026 brings the authentic SuperMoto experience to the mid-range class, offering a compact, aggressive and extremely fun package. Inspired by the legendary KTM 690 SMC R, the new 390 SMC R is built to dominate the asphalt and to tackle the occasional dirt track. With a performance-oriented design, perfect ergonomics for sliding in corners and modern technology, this model turns every road into a personal circuit.

High-tech TFT and intuitive controls

On board, the rider has a 4.2-inch H42 TFT display made of bonded glass, with a customized interface for the screen size. It has an anti-reflective coating for excellent visibility in any light. Music, calls, turn-by-turn navigation and riding modes can be accessed through the intuitive menu. An integrated USB port allows for fast charging for devices.

690 SMC R inspired design – ergonomics for total control

With an aggressive stance, compact 9L metal tank and durable PP plastic fairings, the KTM 390 SMC R is designed for dynamic riding. The 860mm wide, flat monoblock seat allows for quick movements and excellent control in tight turns. The footpegs are adjustable in two positions for maximum grip and comfort during intense riding.

Premium in-mold graphics ensure an impressive look and wear resistance, ready for any SuperMoto session.

399cc LC4c engine – powerful, compact, explosive

Powered by the latest generation of LC4c engines, the KTM 390 SMC R 2026 uses a 398.7cc, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine that delivers 45 PS and 39 Nm. The response is instant, the acceleration smooth and powerful, perfect for intense city traffic or mountain twisties. The Bosch EMS with Ride-by-Wire guarantees precision and a feeling connected to the front wheel.

Ride Modes and SuperMoto ABS for advanced riding

Riders have two riding modes available: STREET for everyday riding and SPORT for those who want to push the limits. The modes are easily managed via TFT.

The ABS system, controlled by the Bosch 10.3MB module, offers two settings: standard ABS and SuperMoto ABS, where the rear wheel can be completely deactivated for authentic drifting.

Full LED lighting system

The LED headlights taken directly from the KTM 690 SMC R offer high visibility in traffic, at night or in difficult weather conditions, adding extra safety and aggressive style.

Trellis frame and die-cast swingarm – excellent rigidity and feedback

The KTM 390 SMC R uses a steel trellis frame and cast aluminum subframe, designed for optimized torsional rigidity and maximum agility. The gravity die-cast swingarm, developed specifically for this model, provides stability and additional space for the unique exhaust system.

WP APEX suspension with advanced adjustments

The 43 mm WP APEX fork, with 230 mm of travel, allows for 30 clicks of compression and rebound adjustment. At the rear, the WP APEX Split Piston shock with 230 mm of travel offers 20 clicks of adjustment for rebound and preload adjustment. This setup ensures exceptional behavior on asphalt and stability in light terrain.

17" spoked wheels and powerful braking

Equipped with 17" spoked wheels front/rear and Michelin Power 6 tires (110/70 R17 front and 150/60 R17 rear), the KTM 390 SMC R 2026 offers top-notch grip.

Braking is at a premium level: 320 mm front disc with 2-piston ByBre radial caliper and 240 mm rear disc with 1-piston caliper. ABS can be deactivated at the rear for more SuperMoto fun.
