MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS - the power of the untamed Brutale can be experienced for countless hours in the saddle.
The history of the Brutale model has deep roots in the creative genius of Massimo Tamburini, the man who revolutionized the idea of sport bikes. Today, the vision that inspired the project is embodied in a Brutale motorcycle that maintains its beauty intact, enriched with an exclusive technical package.
The Brutale RS version offers the same unmatched properties as the RR model and brings increased comfort through the slightly raised position of the semi-handlebar. The suspension system on the Brutale 1000 RS is, in part, unprecedented. In addition to the renowned electronically controlled Ohlins steering damper, there is a Marzocchi fork and a Sachs mono-shock. Both units are fully adjustable in terms of hydraulic and elastic parameters to provide comfort, performance, and riding dynamics. The high-density foam saddle also contributes to comfort.
The inline 4-cylinder engine, unique in the world due to the radial valve arrangement, finds a new version thanks to the counter-rotating crankshaft which reduces high-frequency secondary vibrations, to the benefit of reliability and comfort. Friction has been reduced thanks to the new gears. The transmission has been strengthened and is more precise and efficient.
The aspiration for high performance also influences the electronics. The inertial platform has allowed further refinement in terms of traction response and wheelie control. The Brutale 1000 RS combines safety and performance in complete harmony, so the rider will enjoy a pleasant riding experience in a variety of conditions, on the road and on the track. Counter-rotation acceleration makes engine management easier, and cruise control deactivation becomes smoother.
The Brutale 1000 RS also gains points through the rider interface, thanks to the 5.5-inch TFT screen and the MV Ride application. The application allows adjustment of multiple electronic parameters according to usage conditions and rider preferences. Not to mention the navigation features and the ability to record trips, which can then be shared on social media.
The Brutale 1000 RS package is complemented by Continental ABS with cornering function. The braking system confirms its number 1 status in terms of power and ease of handling, relying on 320 mm discs and Brembo Stylema calipers.
