Junior riders need to feel confident, in full control. For this reason, the Spanish manufacturer has equipped the GASGAS MC-E 5 with a NEKEN tapered handlebar. Thanks to the small diameter grips, young riders enjoy control and do not feel fatigue. An innovative, specially developed throttle assembly comes equipped with an ODI vulcanized handle while the glue-free lock-on handle is positioned on the left side of the handlebar.
Wrapped around the 5kW motor is a hard chrome steel frame that offers remarkable stability, ease of handling and precision when cornering. GASGAS engineers have designed each frame to deliver just the right amount of flex and stiffness.
With 205mm of travel, the lightweight WP XACT forks up front deliver impressive performance. The 35mm USD forks feature the latest technology, allowing young riders to focus on riding and having fun. Fully adjustable with a hand pump, the air unit on the left fork leg can be tuned to suit rider preference, weight and trail conditions.
A number of quality parts complete the MC-E 5 mini bike, such as the WP monoshock, directly connected to the swingarm. Configured to perfectly match the WP XACT forks, the fully adjustable shock offers a massive 193mm of travel to deliver precise rear-end damping.
It’s essential for young riders and racers to be able to put both feet on the ground. The MC-E 5 has a variable seat height (standard seat 634mm) which can be achieved by raising the rear shock absorber to a different position and lowering the front forks. To accommodate young riders from 4 years old, the suspension units can be lowered further with the help of a Suspension Lowering Kit, available in the Accessories Catalogue.

The Li-Ion battery powers the MC-E 5 motorcycle and makes young people smile as if every day is Christmas! A total of 84 modern lithium-ion cells are housed in the robust battery housing, mounted above the motor. The 907Wh of stored energy is equivalent to two hours of riding for a beginner and 25 minutes for riders who prefer speed. The integrated battery management system BMS provides safety and longevity to the battery pack.
A full charge takes just 60 minutes, and 45 minutes is the time required for an 85% charge. The MC-E 5 comes with a universal 110-230 volt charger.
Some call it a multi-tool, GASGAS calls it the control center - the little box of lights and magic placed in front of the saddle, close to the steering. It offers riders and parents the option of 6 different riding modes, and power settings can be selected according to experience. The control center also indicates the battery power level.
Mistakes are part of the fun! For extra safety, the GASGAS MC-E 5 is equipped with an anti-roll sensor that cuts power if the rider crashes.
To slow down and not cause concern for parents, the MC-E 5 has serious stopping power. Equipped with hydraulically operated brake calipers combined with wavy brake discs at the front and rear, the system ensures strong braking performance in all conditions.
